Geensys' Development Centers develop embedded electronic systems (industrial products, demonstrators, prototypes) according to the traditional V cycle.
Geensys can cover all or part of the V cycle (from specifications to the industrial production file).

 

Requirements analysis: preparation of the specifications
Support in the definition of requirements and the authoring of the specifications
System design
Adaptable to all types of project (software, hardware, mechatronics and distributed systems)
Developments according to our own or the customer's design options
Unit and integration tests, validation
Industrial production setup

 

Geensys can also offer packaged and customized consulting services delivered by dedicated teams.

Geensys capitalizes on its engineering expertise in four specialized sectors:

 

Software: in particular, embedded software for 8-, 16- and 32-bit targets (low layers, drivers, applications, OS, user interfaces), but also software engineering for off-board applications that manage databases and user interfaces.

 

Hardware: design, development and implementation
Digital electronics is our core business. But we also possess strong skills in:

- Analog electronics,
- Power electronics (power supplies)

Radio frequency (design of PCB antennae – 433 MHz to 2.4 GHz)

 

Mechanics
- Design and conception of plastic parts with severe constraints
- Design of the associated tools

 

Mechatronics system
Geensys can develop complete systems that combine software, electronics and mechanical engineering.

Geensys was CMMI level 3 certified in June, 2006

One of Geensys greatest strengths is its dynamic workforce that constantly progresses in order to stay abreast of technological progress in its target sectors.
We have nurtured skills both in avant-garde and breakaway technologies and in the mature technologies required by our customers. Here are just some of those technologies:

 

Software:
C, C++, Assembler, Java, for proprietary operating systems, Linux or RTOS on the open market (WinCE, VXworks, etc.).
The AUTOSAR standard (Basic Software and Global Integration)
Tools (IDEs, Eclipse IDE, DOT.net, Matlab Simulink, TargetLink, StateMate, etc.)

 

HardWare:
Strong command of digital electronics
Analog, power and power supplies
Definition of PCB or wire-based antennas (RF technologies)
Permanent watch on the latest technologies and production processes
FPGA programmable components (Altera, Xilinx, Actel and Lattice)
Tools (Cadence EDA chains, analog simulation, PSpice)

 

Mechanics:
The latest materials (plastics)
